Recycle? yes, but when I was a kid, my Mom used this as a way to keep us busy and since we didn't have a lot of money, it was a great way to create gifts for others!

and bought 2 pairs of shoes off the clearance shelves at $9 each. I didn't like the ruffly-&lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1"&gt;satin like&lt;/span&gt; decoration down the front so I removed it all.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2"&gt;Unfortunately&lt;/span&gt;, what looked to be just sewn on decoration, turned out to be also glued down.&lt;br /&gt;So, I was left with some damage to the front strap.&lt;br /&gt;Not to be undeterred, I set forth to search for a pair of earrings or jewelry that I could use to decorate the shoes.&lt;br /&gt;I had narrowed it down to a 2 pairs of earrings and 2 bracelets.&lt;br /&gt;The Heart earrings &amp;amp; Black rhinestone bracelets i purchase from &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3"&gt;Melrose&lt;/span&gt; and the Rhinestone mesh earrings I purchased for $6.50 from the Charlotte Russo Outlet store.&lt;br /&gt;Necessary items to finish project: Clear thread which I purchased from Hobby Lobby and a needle, preferably a curved &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4"&gt;upholstery&lt;/span&gt; needle, thimble which I like to use a leather one.
