Do damage after a time along with the fact that this thing is 15 yrs ild and plastic rots.
So what to do.
Clean
Sand
Wipe down
Protect with paper and tape
Spray on the new color
Let it dry
Sand down drips
Do a second coat
Let dry
Sand down and maybe clear coat
Let dry
Sand those drips
And
Done
I hope this holds up until it breaks and I have to get a new one.

Pen & Pencil holders ect...Recycle Project

Take some Free Triumph Posters
Some empty Coffee Creamer/Sugar containers
And some tape

I am constantly re-using items at work to hold things in a somewhat orderd clutter.
i started covering my creations with the leftover from stamps and stickers but it really was tacky and unproffessional so I decided to do something about it.

I used hite out around the edge but if I get really industrius, I may come back with t-shirt Slick paint and fill that in.

You can see the difference b/t the ones I have covered and the stickered covered ones.
Also, Here I used the corners that were originally used to protect a whipe board during shipping.
THe mistake I made was in not going ahead and removing them before attempting to cover the whole thin and then just reattach the corners.
if you look inward you can see the shadow of the two corners attached to the back for support and to keep the box from tipping the other way.

Shoe Transformation: Decisions

This is how I made my decision on how to choose what earrings I wanted for what shoe.

I used straight pins to tack the earrings in place and then observed the look.

Step 2 Shoe Transformation: Deciding which earrings go with what shoes

I originally bought the black bracelts to go with the black shoes, but after removing the elastic, I really didn't like the look.

I really like the look of the Mesh earrings on the back and front of the shoes but I think I would rather attach some rhinestones with my hot setter rather than try to attach these type of earrings to the heel.

Saw a Great pair of shoes done that way in Hawaii with the rhinestones set along the back of the shoe heel.

The red shoes i prefer the heart earrings which is what I originally purchased for these shoes.

I did worry about choosing a different color than silver if I ever chose to wear gold jewelry but I tend to have only 10% of my jewelry is gold, ok 5%!

Step 1: Shoe Transformation

I was recently at Melrose and bought 2 pairs of shoes off the clearance shelves at $9 each. I didn't like the ruffly-satin like decoration down the front so I removed it all.
Unfortunately, what looked to be just sewn on decoration, turned out to be also glued down.
So, I was left with some damage to the front strap.
Not to be undeterred, I set forth to search for a pair of earrings or jewelry that I could use to decorate the shoes.
I had narrowed it down to a 2 pairs of earrings and 2 bracelets.
The Heart earrings & Black rhinestone bracelets i purchase from Melrose and the Rhinestone mesh earrings I purchased for $6.50 from the Charlotte Russo Outlet store.
Necessary items to finish project: Clear thread which I purchased from Hobby Lobby and a needle, preferably a curved upholstery needle, thimble which I like to use a leather one. Thimbles like this are available at most craft stores and places like walmart.
